At Shama Vikas Samiti, we believe that community awareness and engagement are essential for social development. 1.World Disability Day Celebration

On 3rd December 2024, SVS organized a rally to mark World Disability Day in Islampur Block, Nalanda District. The rally started from the Shama Vikas Samiti office and proceeded to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) and Block Office of Islampur. Participants included persons with disabilities (PwDs), PRI members, the Secretary, and community members.

This event aimed to raise awareness about disability rights, promote social inclusion, and advocate for the empowerment of PwDs. It provided a platform for the community to come together and celebrate the capabilities and contributions of persons with disabilities.

2. Important Day Celebrations

SVS organizes celebrations for national and international observances, including Independence Day, Republic Day, World Women’s Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Kabir Jayanti, Environment Day, and Population Day at our headquarters in Islampur, Nalanda.

3. Workshop on Solar Energy

SVS conducted a workshop on solar energy in Islampur, Nalanda, aimed at promoting renewable energy awareness and sustainable practices. The workshop brought together community members, experts, and stakeholders to discuss the benefits and applications of solar energy.
